Munich Airport is a major hub in a constantly changing world. It is an important connector whose guiding ideals are community, responsibility, innovation, and competence. These brand values were identified and applied in a new exhibition stand and concept for Munich Airport at ITB Berlin 2016, the leading trade fair for the tourism industry. To represent the airport to an international audience, a modular, flexible construction was developed to showcase both the airport’s new look and its guiding principle: “living ideas - connecting lives”. The square, 15m-surface lends itself to a versatile design. Its central eye-catcher is a tilted wall that echoes the slanted design element in the airport’s logo. A selection of high-quality materials gives the stand a friendly and modern feel.
