The design of the new CODELLO administrative headquarters with central warehouse reflects the essential hallmarks of this family-owned company, which is known for its colorful shawls and scarves: an interplay of surfaces, colors, and patterns, use of natural materials, and attention to detail and craftsmanship. Next to the largely closed high-bay warehouse is the loft-style office building, which accommodates the company’s diverse requirements in a clearly organized structure. It features open, luminous office spaces and meeting rooms, a cafeteria, design studios, and a showroom. The façade stands out in the industrial park with its unique anthracite, color-imbued prefabricated elements of exposed concrete. The clear lines of the conjoined slabs and the surfaces with cloud-like patterns convey the notion of a vibrant, handcrafted building shell with a natural patina.
